Pressure/Overpressure Relief Valves (A-KSID)
They are designed to protect rooms and equipment from excess gas pressure generated during the release of a gas extinguishing agent from a gas fire suppression installation.
The need for A-KSID in the gas fire extinguishing system of the premises is determined by the «Method for calculating the area of the aperture for the discharge of excess pressure in rooms protected by gas suppression installations», which is given in Set 3 of the Rules of Procedure 5.13130.2009.
